Join me in a session on how to understand your dog. Personalised for you and your dog, we will discuss the problems you are concerned with, and what the solutions and management approaches are, that best meet the needs of you both.

Part of any successful behaviour change is acknowledging that it cannot be one sided. Sometimes, behaviours that we don’t like are instinctive to our dog, and require training for other safe outlets, rather than stopping the dog’s behaviour itself. Often, behaviour-change is about identifying the triggers that lead to the behaviour and managing the environment - rather than focussing just on the dog’s behaviour. It is a big and wonderful recipe book, that requires many ingredients.

The session lasts 60 minutes, and does not require me to see the behaviour - eliciting the behaviour may be stressful to the dog. I will need you to complete a questionnaire prior to the session, which will be emailed upon confirming your booking. If practicable, any notes from recent veterinary visits will be helpful as well.

Please note, that if you require medication for your dog, I cannot prescribe these, and so, your trusted vet may become involved in your treatment/management plan. My fee does not include this as part of the session.
